First off, let me apologize. I’ve been under the weather for over a week now and haven’t been posting. Ick! Now that I’m starting to feel somewhat better (still not good), I wanted to lighten the spirit a bit, and bring some fresh spring into the air.
It was by far my favorite birthday for the kids (so far)! The room was filled with tons of Tea party foods and refreshments, as well as handmade banners, lace, candles, more lace, and party hats galore! I wanted it to be more English Garden rather than Alice… but by far… it-was-magical!
To prepare for this “shindig”, I hit up all the second-hand shops for their lace
curtains, table clothes, ANYTHING, as well as any floral arrangements, candle sticks, candles, tea cups, knick-knacks etc… I also found those adorable photo frames for each table at the local dollar store. Overall this party was pretty inexpensive, because everything was either handmade by Yours Truly, or from a thrift shop!
I made the tissue florals and painted mason jars, the lace crown and tutu, as well as hand sewn banners. The party favors were also easy as pie….

Girls- Hand-made Feather and Floral Headbands and lace “gloves”.
All were invited to wear their favorite party hat, and to bring their favorite stuffed friend to enjoy tea with. After the lunch we ate cake and had a puppet show for the little ones! Some of us even took part in a fun game of Ring-Around-The-Rosie!
Take a look at some of my favorite photos of that special day!
This day wouldn’t have been complete without some of my favorite peeps!
Thank you for bringing the magic!
