Let me describe the setting of this busy day… We had 4 major events that day. Between our first dance lesson, and school shopping, it was a BUZZING day of busy bees! So the only way to conquer days like these are Slow Cooker Meals! If you are familiar with my Meal Plans, then you know… this Momma uses a lot of Slow Cooker Meals!
These Savory Slow Cooker Sweet & Spicy Pork Chops were seriously falling off the bones, and melting in our mouths! The “spice” wasn’t too much for the kids, and all in all was a HUGE win in the Kendig Digs.
Savory Slow Cooker Sweet & Spicy Pork Chops
4-6 BONE-in pork chops(frozen or thawed)
8 oz strawberry JALAPENO jam
12 oz chili sauce
1/2 cup spicy banana peppers- sliced
1. Place pork chops into slow cooker.
2. place jam into a microwavable bowl, and microwave until jam is more of a liquid form.
3. WHISK together the jam and chili sauce. Pour over pork chops.
4. throw in the banana peppers.
5. cover, and cook! (high 5-6 hours, or low 7-8 hours)
I pared these babies with Stuffed Zucchini boats! They are super simple! The filling was simply a package of Chicken Flavored Stuffing Mix, combined with fresh sliced Mozzarella cheese, and sprinkled with panko and bacon pieces! Check it! Sooo easy!
What’s my favorite part of these pork chops? The easy as pie method of literally throwing them in the Slow Cooker and being able to confidently move on with my daily duties! As a mom of two kids under 5… LIFESAVER!
