Welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop! From December 1st to December 12th, I will be hosting 15 AMAZING bloggers that are all showing off some of their favorite Christmas creations. Get prepared to be awestruck with some incredible recipes, DIY projects, and gift ideas!
Each day at least one blogger will be sharing a project of their choice. We can say with full confidence that you are sure to find something to inspire you for this joyful holiday season.
I just love these little guys! They are so simple, but can add a huge impact onto a gift wrapping, or a shelf, or even a tree! It brings a nice touch of something simply homemade. And the best part of this project is you can probably find everything you need right at home! Who could ask for more?
Because these little guys are handmade, they each have their own look and uniqueness. They are so simple, even a little artist could help make them. They could be a easy craft for them to give as gifts for the season!
DIY Clothespin snowman ORNAMENTS
old fashioned clothespins
homespun strips of fabric
paint: white, black, orange
small tip paint brush
Sponge paint brush
1. fasten the clothespins (PROPPED up) on to the cardboard. this will allow you to paint on all sides without having to lay it down to dry. Paint White.
2. Once white is dry, then paint the faces and buttons onto the side of choice.
3. after paint is COMPLETELY dry and cured, gently tie the homespun around the “neck” to create a scarf. fasten a ORNAMENT hook or ribbon onto homespun.
Yes, they are simple and require very little creative juices… but they are so stinkin’ adorable!!! I would be so thrilled to find one of these babies attached to a gift! Here are some ideas of where you could place them:
Decorate a gift card
Clip on a stocking
Place in a basket for shelf decor
String a few together to create a banner
attach a pin to the back and clip onto a coat or scarf
The options are endless!
I hope you’re feeling the holiday spirit just as much as we are! Be sure to keep popping by the other bloggers throughout the 12 days!
