Hey everyone! Washi may be over done by this point, but I have to say I still can’t get enough! I really love how you can literally do anything with it. AND… it’s easy! So I was trying to figure out how I could create some decor for our kitchen project. I had these supplies lying around, so I put them to use! Here is the supplies list you will need: SIMPLE!
Here is the SERIOUSLY SIMPLE how-to! TRACE, CUT, AND GLUE!
Because the washi has an adhesive back, using modpodge or glue isn’t necessary. But because I was placing it in a space where there might be heat or humidity… I wanted to make sure it would peel back.
But seriously… how cute is this? It’s adorable! The green goes great with our kitchen walls and accessories. I do like having my counters clean, clear of “stuff”, and crisp.. So this K is perfect. It sits up off the counter and takes no space, but yet it adds a slice of decor.
I had gotten these Rachel Ray oil and vinegar drips as a gift from my Mother in Law… She always finds great stuff! I love them, and now placed next to the K they really stand out! This project was so simple it would be a shame not to create one of your own… Simple and inexpensive! Love it!
I hope you enjoyed stopping by! The kitchen is my favorite place in our home, and I can’t wait for the final reveal!!! I promise… it’s coming!
If you enjoyed this post you will love this one! Check out how I wrapped my phone case in washi!
